Invisalign® should not cause you pain. When you switch to a new set of aligners, you may feel slight pressure or discomfort. This will wear off in a few days and can be managed with over-the-counter medication as necessary.
You need to wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day. Failure to do so can result in longer treatment time and reverse movements.
You should only take out your clear aligners to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
With Invisalign® Teen, the aligners have blue dot compliance indicators to ensure your child is wearing his or her trays.
